Deepwater Feedlot

Deepwater Feedlot is located on Bigambul country near St George in the Balonne region of Queensland. Deepwater Feedlot is a lamb feedlot that opened in 2022 , and the Queensland Government supported the construction of the feedlot through a Rural Economic Development (RED) Grant of up to $250,000. The feedlot has been built on top of drainage lines. On the day the footage was taken, we observed a large pile of dead lambs that had been dumped and left uncovered.
