Hatcham Downs Feedlot is located on Yiman country near Taroom in the Banana region of Queensland. This feedlot does not provide any shade or shelter for the cows. It is located 2.4 km from Eurombah Creek, and a large portion of the property is mapped as a flood hazard area. On the day that the footage was taken, many scattered bones, body parts and an uncovered decomposing carcass were seen on the compost pile.
