Lillyvale Feedlot

Lillyvale Feedlot is located on Barunggam country, near Condamine in Queensland’s Western Downs.  The feedlot is located only 450 metres from the Condamine River, and the entire property is mapped as a flood hazard area. This feedlot is owned and operated by Arubial Wagyu, and many of the cows at this feedlot are Wagyu breeds that will remain here for around 400 to 500 days. On the day the footage was taken, we saw a dead mother cow in a nearby paddock, who appeared to have died during birth, as the calf was still stuck inside her.
