Mungindi Feedlot is located on Bigambul country near Mungindi in the Balonne region near the Queensland/New South Wales border. This feedlot is owned and operated by JBS – the largest meat producer in Australia and the world. This feedlot is located 3.5 km from the Weir River. On the day we visited, we noticed several yards that were extremely crowded, along with dumped rubbish near the feedlot.
