Tullimba Feedlot is located on Kamilaroi Country, near Armidale in the New England region of NSW. This feedlot is operated by University of New England, and acts as a research facility “to provide research and training opportunities to enhance the international competitiveness of the Australian beef industry“. The feedlot provides no access to shade or shelter, and cows are kept in extremely small pens. On the day footage was taken, we noticed that the nearby watercourses appeared to affected by algal blooms.
