Beef City Feedlot is located on Barunggam country near Toowoomba in the Toowoomba Region of Queensland. Beef City is owned and operated by JBS – the largest meat producer in Australia and the world. Beef City also has a slaughterhouse on the same property. The feedlot is located 2.2 km from Linthorpe Creek. On the day we visited the feedlot, we noticed 4 dead cows lying near the feedlot, along with several piles of rubbish.
