Double D Cattle Co Feedlot

Double D Cattle Co’s Feedlot is located on Barunggam country near Dalby in the Toowoomba region of Queensland. The small feedlot is in the process of expanding to its licenced operating capacity of 3,000 cows. The cows are provided with no access to shade, and on the day the footage was taken, a very young calf was seen inside the feedlot. We also saw the body of a dead calf, along with scattered bones, body parts and an old carcass near the compost pile. This feedlot is located 1.2 km from Myall Creek.
