Enarra Feedlot

Enarra Feedlot is located on Bigambul country near Westmar in the Balonne region of Queensland. This is a multi-species feedlot containing both lambs and cows. In 2022, the feedlot was granted approval to expand to 4000 sheep and 19,500 cows. On the day we visited, we saw several dead lambs lying uncovered near the compost pile, along with large piles of dumped rubbish near the feedlot. Whilst the lamb feedlot is undercover, the cows are provided no access to shade or shelter.
