Glen Gowrie Feedlot

Glen Gowrie Feedlot is located on Bundjalung country, near Warwick, in the Southern Downs region of Queensland. This feedlot is located just 200 metres from the Condamine River. Part of the pens and all of the effluent ponds are in mapped flood hazard areas. On the day the footage was taken, there were many scattered bones and decomposed body parts near the compost pile. There was also the body of a very young calf, being eaten by wildlife, just meters from the feedlot pens. This feedlot does not provide any shade or shelter for the cows.
