Myola Feedlot

Myola Feedlot is located in Kamilaroi Country, near Croppa Creek, in the Gwydir Shire Council region of Northern New South Wales. The feedlot is owned and operated by Bindaree Food Group, with brand names such as ‘Bindaree Butchery’ and ‘First Cut’. When we visited the feedlot, we noticed large piles of bones scattered around the compost piles, along with what looked like algae-affected water troughs in the pens. Most cows will remain on this feedlot for around 100 days.
