Paringa Feedlot

Paringa Feedlot is located on Wangan country in the Central Highlands region of Queensland. This feedlot is in the process of increasing capacity from 4,000 cows to 17,600, which was approved in 2018. On the day the footage was taken, we saw construction of new pens, dead cows dumped next to piles of concrete, as well as several cows in nearby paddocks who were grazing around scattered body parts and the carcass of another dead cow. This feedlot does not provide shade or shelter for the cows
