Sandalwood Feedlot

Sandalwood Feedlot is located on Barunggam country, near Dalby in the Darling Downs of Queensland. This feedlot is owned and operated by the Korean company, LOTTE International, which produce the ‘L’grow Wagyu’ brand of beef. Wagyu cows are kept here for a minimum of 400 days. This large feedlot is located just 270 m from Minor Creek, which connects to Myall Creek, and a large part of the property, including the effluent ponds, is mapped as flood-prone. On the day we visited the feedlot, we noticed algae-green water and dumped/buried rubbish.
