Talbingo Feedlot

Talbingo Feedlot is located on Barunggam country, near Tara in the Western Downs on Queensland. This small feedlot has some shade structures, but they are not wide enough for all cows, and are not available in all pens. On the day that we visited the feedlot, we observed a lot of bones along with what appeared to be burnt earth on the compost piles. We also witnessed the cows pushing and shoving to get near the food troughs.
