Teys Australia Condamine Feedlot

Teys Australia Condamine Feedlot is located on Mandandanji country, near Condamine in the Western Downs of Queensland. This is one of three feedlots owned and operated by Teys Australia- one of Australia’s largest red meat companies. This huge feedlot is situated only 550 metres from Dogwood Creek, and the entire property is mapped as a flood hazard area. There are two small strips of shade over each pen, but it does not appear to be enough for all cows simultaneously. On the day we visited the feedlot, we observed a large hole filled with rubbish.
