Wide Bay Feedlot

Wide Bay Feedlot is located on Wakka Wakka country near Goomeri in the Gympie Region of Queensland. This feedlot is owned and operated by Nolan Meats, which also operates an abattoir in Gympie. Wide Bay Feedlot does not provide any shade or shelter for the cows. The feedlot is just 1km from Wide Bay Creek, and part of the property is mapped as a flood hazard area. On the day we visited, we observed a dead cow lying just outside of the feedlot pens.
