Windera Valley Feedlot is located on Wakka Wakka country near Murgon in the South Burnett region of Queensland. This small feedlot is just 725 metres from Windera Creek, and part of the property is mapped as a flood hazard area. This feedlot does not provide any shade or shelter for the cows. On the day we visited, we observed several decomposed carcasses lying near the feedlot.
